Bio
Dr. Katiya was born and raised on Montreal’s south Shore, in Brossard, Quebec. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Anatomy and Histology from McGill University in Montreal. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Montreal, then went on to do a surgical residency at the University of Rochester, in New York at the Eastman Oral Health Institute, where she received advanced surgical training. Dr. Katiya is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has also completed training with the Misch Institute of Prosthetic and Surgical dentistry, as well as a residency at the Cairo University in Egypt. She has also received advanced training for Alloderm grafting surgical technique.
Dr. Katiya is also currently accepting new patients for surgical dentistry.
In 2013, Dr. Katiya presented a poster on implants Papilla engineering at an conference in Las Vegas and received the title "Master" of the International Congress of Oral implantologist.
