Dr. Shiva Barikani completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University with a Bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Calgary. Prior to becoming a dentist, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
Dr. Barikani puts a high priority on preventive dentistry and patient education and she believes in the importance of oral health and its impact on general health. She loves meeting new people and providing the best possible dental care for her patients. She enjoys building long-lasting relationships with her patients based on principles of open communication, respect, and trust. She is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and takes many continuing education courses to upgrade her skills in order to provide the best treatment and care for her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Barikani enjoys reading books, travelling, snowboarding, attending yoga classes, and spending time with her husband and family.
