Dr. Ammar Taimish is a General Dentist, with an interest in oral surgery, education and mentorship. Dr. Taimish is committed to putting quality patient care and dedicated customer service at the forefront of his clinical practice. Catering to children, adolescents, and adults. He has a vast knowledge and continues to stay up to date on advances in his field.
Following in his beloved father Dr. Mohamed Taimish’s footsteps, Dr. Taimish received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. After graduation, he trained at Syracuse University Hospital Department of Surgery. Along with performing history and physical exams, he prepared to specialize in surgical head and neck anatomy.
Today Dr. Taimish works as a General Practitioner and limits his scope of practice to Oral Surgery & Implant Dentistry. His primary focus is removal of impacted wisdom teeth, surgical extraction, dental implants, sedation dentistry, bone grafting, All-on-4, and teeth in a day. With 20+ years of experience in oral surgery and Implant dentistry and with over 1000 hours of continuing education, he takes pride in restoring patients’ appearance, comfort, and quality of life through modern dental techniques.
In addition to practicing General Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Dr. Taimish is a dedicated mentor, lecturer, and instructor of implant courses. He is passionate about finding innovative approaches in dental surgery, assisting prospective dentists in reaching their goals, and providing professional, comfortable care to each patient he encounters.
