Dr. Aness Assafeen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2019 and is known for his knowledgeable patient care, always taking the time to listen to his patients’ needs and concerns.
“Complete dentistry has a lot to offer and can greatly improve people’s quality of life through thoughtful discussion, examination, and planning,” says Dr. Assafeen.
Dr. Assafeen continually advances his skills through extensive training in root canal therapy, implant dentistry, Invisalign, and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation. He is an active member of the Seattle Study Club, Dawson Study Club, DCC Root Canal Study Club, and DCC Invisalign Study Club.
Before joining Trimac Dental Centre in Halifax, Dr. Assafeen practiced in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and completed surgical and implant training at both a university hospital and through the MIT program.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Assafeen maintains an active and balanced lifestyle. He enjoys fitness, tennis, and spending time with family and friends, believing that a healthy mind and body are essential to providing the best patient care.
