Sturgeon Creek Dental welcomed Dr. Anthony Nowakowski to the practice in 2023. With more than 40 years of experience in clinical dentistry and dental education, he has combined a successful 25-year career in private practice with a longstanding commitment to teaching. In addition to his role as an Associate Dentist at Sturgeon Creek Dental, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba.
His academic interests include restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, digital dentistry, dental education, and outcomes research. He has supervised numerous student research projects, authored peer-reviewed publications, presented internationally, and served as a reviewer for leading dental journals.
A recipient of multiple teaching awards and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Dr. Nowakowski is recognized for his dedication to exceptional patient care, excellence in education, professional service, and the advancement of the dental profession.
