Bio
Dr. Rousseau has been practicing dentistry since 1988, beginning her career as a lecturer in Oral Pathology at Université Laval while owning Clinique Dentaire des Laurentides in Charlesbourg. She distinguished herself as a pioneer in cosmetic dentistry, abandoning silver amalgam in 1996 and introducing advanced diagnostic tools like lasers and intraoral cameras to better involve patients in their treatment decisions. Dr. Rousseau has developed continuing education courses for dentists on the use of diagnostic tools as well as on the benefits of simulation software to involve patients in their treatment plan decisions.
Her commitment to continuing education led her to develop training courses for fellow dentists and complete advanced implantology studies, including the "Maxi Course" at New York University and five years of prosthodontics training. This expertise enabled her to open her own specialized implantology and dental rehabilitation practice.
Communication is at the heart of my practice. I ensure patients fully understand their treatment options, feel comfortable with procedures, and whenever possible, have their expectations exceeded. Building trust through clear communication with both patients and team members is essential to providing exceptional care.
