Bio
Dr. Damandeep Kaur earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India in 2016. After practicing for about a year, she moved to Canada and pursued a program in Health Systems Management in London, Ontario, to better understand the Canadian healthcare landscape. She spent several years in Ontario while working toward her goal of returning to the dental profession. This journey led her to the University of Alberta and ultimately to Edmonton. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2025 from the University of Alberta.
During her time there, she had the privilege of volunteering at the SHINE Free Dental Clinic, where dental students provide weekend care to underserved members of the community. She was also involved in the Access for All initiative supporting Métis communities in Okotoks. These experiences were deeply fulfilling and reinforced her commitment to service - something she hopes to continue throughout her career. She strongly values lifelong learning and believes continuing education is essential to staying current and delivering the best possible oral care. Travel has been an important part of her life, allowing her to explore new cultures and perspectives. She feels fortunate to call three countries home: India, Belgium, and Canada.
Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, swimming, and dancing. She also joins her friends for the occasional round of golf or hiking trip, and loves exploring different cuisines. Most of all, she values the meaningful time she spends with her friends and family.
