Dr. Emily Jessica Levens, DMD, is a bilingual McGill-trained general dentist with a strong foundation in comprehensive, evidence-based dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with distinction from McGill University before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences in Montreal.
Dr. Levens is known for her calm, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to patient care. She strives to create an environment where patients feel genuinely heard, comfortable, and confident throughout treatment. Her clinical training spans restorative, pediatric, surgical, and emergency dentistry, with particular emphasis on comprehensive diagnosis, phased treatment planning, and continuity of care.
Throughout her training, Dr. Levens completed hospital- and community-based rotations in oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric dentistry, oral medicine, chronic pain management, and outreach programs serving underserved, refugee, geriatric, neurodivergent, and special-needs populations throughout Montreal. These experiences strengthened her communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to providing compassionate, accessible care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.
She combines strong clinical attention to detail with a warm and approachable chairside manner, placing particular emphasis on prevention, patient education, and collaborative decision-making. Dr. Levens takes the time to clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes so patients can make informed choices and feel actively involved in their oral health care.
