Bio
Dr. Emma Hudson was raised in Halifax and obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Environmental Science from Mount Allison University. In 2014 she moved to Montreal to begin her Doctor of Medical Dentistry at McGill University, graduating in 2018 and being recognized for outstanding achievement in periodontology from the American Academy of Periodontology.
To pursue advanced training, she was accepted to a one year General Practice Residency at the Montreal General Hospital where she completed rotations in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Pathology, Orofacial pain, Head and Neck Oncology, Pediatrics and Anesthesiology.
Dr. Hudson passed her examen de L’office Québécois de la langue Française and following her residency, practiced in Montreal for four years, where she became comfortable treating patients in French.
Recognizing the importance of providing exceptional care to her patients, Dr. Hudson has been a SPEAR study club member since 2022. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and is licensed with the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia (now the NSRDDA).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hudson values spending time with family and friends and is delighted to be back home. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but is most motivated by getting to know her patients and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
