Bio
Meet Dr. Herbert Woo, a dedicated General Dentist. Dr. Woo graduated from the University of Alberta in 2002 and has been practicing dentistry ever since.
Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Woo remains actively involved in continuing education through his participation in the Edmonton and District Dental Society and the Gnathology Study Group. He is committed to continually seeking new knowledge, advanced techniques, and innovative approaches to enhance the quality of care he provides. Dr. Woo is deeply passionate about dentistry and takes great pride in caring for people and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. He believes in delivering personalized treatment while fostering a comfortable, trusting environment for every patient.
Dr. Woo is fluent in English and also speaks Cantonese, allowing him to assist a diverse range of patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Woo is a proud husband and father. His wife is an elementary school teacher at a local school, and together they have a daughter and a son. His daughter is currently studying Nursing at the University of Alberta and continues to pursue her passion for dance with the Edmonton Elks Dance Team, while his son is in high school and keeps the family busy with hockey. In his free time, Dr. Woo enjoys staying active at the gym, and playing basketball and hockey though he admits his body doesn’t always keep up with his competitive spirit. He strives to stay young at heart, even if his kids might say otherwise.
