Bio
Dr. Karan Handa was born and raised in India, where he completed his dental degree (DDS) in 2010, followed by a Master’s in Prosthodontics in 2014. In 2020, he moved to Canada to further advance his clinical training and completed a residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Manitoba in 2023.
Dr. Handa has contributed to academic dentistry as a Clinical Associate Professor at both the University of Manitoba and the University of Michigan, where he was actively involved in teaching and mentoring dental students and residents.
He specializes in the surgical and prosthetic aspects of oral rehabilitation, including single and multiple implant restorations as well as All-on-X solutions. His areas of interest include complex full-mouth rehabilitation, maxillofacial prosthetics, and advanced digital dentistry workflows. Dr. Handa practices a patient-centered approach, designing customized treatment plans that restore function, enhance aesthetics, and support long-term oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Handa enjoys spending time with his family. He is also passionate about playing badminton and listening to music, which help him maintain a well-balanced and active lifestyle.
