Bio
Dr. Lauren Sehdev is a general dentist, born and raised in Burlington. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) from McMaster University before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, Dr. Lauren completed a hospital-based residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she received advanced training in surgical, restorative, and emergency dentistry. She has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in surgical implant dentistry, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
Before returning home to Canada, Dr. Lauren practiced dentistry in Michigan for several years, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She and her husband, a family physician who trained alongside her while she was in dental school, are excited to bring their skills to Ottawa and become part of the Stittsville community.
Dr. Lauren is known for her warm, compassionate approach and strives to make every patient feel comfortable and confident in their care. She values building lasting relationships with patients while providing personalized, high-quality dentistry for the whole family.
Outside the office, Dr. Lauren enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and exploring local trails with her husband and their dog.
