Bio
Dr. Maida Ayyaz earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from McGill University after completing her honours Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. During dental school, she was actively involved in student life and was proud to receive third place at McGill's Annual Research Symposium for her research.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Maida believes that great dental care starts with making patients feel comfortable, heard, and informed, and she loves helping people from all walks of life feel more confident in their smiles.
Outside the office, you'll usually find her drawing, knitting, hiking or planning her next trip. She also loves spending time with her husband and their cat, Loki (who they lovingly consider their son). Dr. Maida looks forward to getting to know her patients and making every visit as relaxed and positive of an experience as possible
