Bio
Dr. Sally Issa graduated with honours in Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1996. In 2013, she completed her Master of Science in Implant Dentistry at the University of Warwick, UK, where her research focused on the influence of implant macro-design on strain at the bone-implant interface. She holds the Diplomate and Fellowship designation from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI) and is an active member of both the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association.
After nearly two decades of practice in the UAE, Dr. Issa obtained her NDEB certification, joined the RCDSO, and served as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto. Trained directly by Dr. Eduardo Anitua at the BTI Biotechnology Institute in Vitoria, Spain, she has been a Key Opinion Leader for BTI since 2019, specializing in the PRGF-Endoret biological implant protocol.
Dr. Issa co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on TMJ arthritis management in 2025 and serves as a Research Supervisor at Ulster University College of Medicine and Dentistry in the UK. She is also the founder of ImplantsMent, a personalized one-on-one implant mentorship program in Ontario.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Issa is a devoted wife and proud mother of three accomplished adult children who are building their lives in Toronto. She enjoys finding balance through yoga, reading, and travel.
