Bio
Dr. Ussama Ali brings a unique blend of international experience, advanced clinical training, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care. He completed his first dental degree with Honours from Cairo University in 2013 before immigrating to Canada, where he continued his education at the University of Toronto, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Honours in 2023.
Before attending dental school in Toronto, Dr. Ali also completed his Dental Hygiene program at Georgian College in Barrie, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both preventive and restorative aspects of oral health. Dr. Ali’s clinical interests include aesthetic dentistry, smile design, Invisalign, implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Ali is known for his attention to detail, and his calm, friendly chairside manner. He is committed to continuous growth and participates in ongoing CE courses throughout the year to stay current with the latest techniques and to ensure he provides his patients with the most up-to-date, evidence-based care.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Ali enjoys traveling - exploring new cultures, spending time with his two kids, watching movies, and occasionally diving into video games. He lives in Barrie with his wife, Dr. Badewy, a public health dentist. Dr. Ali’s goal is to create healthy, confident smiles while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their dental experience
