Bio
Dr. Wayne Young graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He also received the James McCutcheon Award and Silver Medal for outstanding academic and clinical achievements.
He helped open Monterey Dental Centre in 1993 and has proudly served the community ever since. He is a surgical instructor with The Institute for Dental Excellence and a director with the Alberta Health Care Steering Committee, where he provides health recommendations to government agencies to help better serve Albertans.
When he’s not practising dentistry or teaching, Dr. Young enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and travelling the world.
