Bio
Dr. Mark Spitz graduated from the University of Alberta’s Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program in 1994 and moved to Dawson Creek that same summer. He has had the pleasure of practising in Dawson Creek for the past 32 years.
Dr. Spitz has served with the BC Federation of Dental Societies and the BC College of Dentistry, taught at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and will serve as President-Elect of the British Columbia Dental Association beginning in October 2026. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has hospital privileges to treat children under general anesthesia in collaboration with the outstanding operating room team. He also strives to continually expand his knowledge through continuing education.
Dawson Creek has been a wonderful home for Dr. Spitz, where he has raised three children. He enjoys the natural beauty and outdoor activities of the Peace Country and is an active member of the community.
