Bio
Dr. Ashley Hah is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate dental care and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and involved in their treatment decisions. Dr. Hah earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from McGill University, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. During her dental education, she participated in several community outreach programs, including the McGill Mobile Dental Clinic, Special Olympics Special Smiles, and the Jim Lund Dental Clinic. These experiences gave her the opportunity to provide care to individuals who may face barriers to accessing dental services and reinforced her commitment to compassionate and accessible dental care.
Dr. Hah believes that every patient has unique needs, concerns, and goals. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand what is important to them, and explain their treatment options in a clear and approachable way. Whether a patient is visiting for a routine dental examination, preventive care, or more complex treatment needs, she focuses on building trust and helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their care. Understanding that dental visits can sometimes feel stressful, Dr. Hah strives to create a calm and welcoming experience. She values shared decision-making and works with each patient to develop a treatment approach that considers their oral health needs, priorities, and circumstances. Having spent part of her childhood in South Korea, Dr. Hah also speaks Korean. She enjoys connecting with patients from different cultures and backgrounds and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with patients and families in the Port Moody community.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hah enjoys staying active by playing volleyball. She also enjoys knitting, crocheting, and exploring new pet-friendly cafés.
