Bio
Dr. Hamideh Alai-Towfigh earned her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba. After several years in general practice, she discovered a deep passion for caring for children, which inspired her to pursue advanced training in pediatric dentistry. She went on to complete a Master of Dentistry in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Alai-Towfigh is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a part-time instructor at the University of Manitoba and remains committed to lifelong learning through continuing education. Dr. Alai-Towfigh has participated in five international dental missions, providing care in communities in Guatemala, Peru, and most recently Kenya.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies and sports, and traveling. Dr. Alai-Towfigh welcomes new patients to her practice and is fluent in French and Farsi.
