Dr. Nick Katsikeris received his Dental Degree and Doctor of Dentistry (PhD equivalent) from the Dental School of the University of Athens. He trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, between 1983 and 1986, going on to teach Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same Faculty from1986 to 1999. In 1991 he received the “A.B Hord Master Teacher Award” – an award recognizing teaching excellence – at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Toronto.Dr. Katsikeris headed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in a major hospital in Athens, Greece from 1999 to 2011.He is currently an Assistant Professor and director of the undergraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.Dr. Katsikeris has presented over fifty papers in meetings both in local and international meetings and is the author of over forty papers published in various refereed scientific journals.
